It is “our” studio because the pickles whispered that the work created does not exist in a vacuum.
Where we create:
The realms of the studio space echo one theme explored in the artistic practice, and that is, fluidity. There is no specific, ongoing, fixed studio space. Drawing in parks occurred long before ‘the pandemic.’ Creative expression occurs in an interconnected, blend of spaces and with available resources. It’s unclear, so far, to say whether this has come about due to individual desires or as a response to societal factors. Most definitely the latter, and probably with a mix of the former. In addition, some creative ‘work’ (or, preferably, ‘enjoyment’), takes place ethereally, some digitally, a heck of a lot physically \(*o*)/ and heck, yes, ~(>3)*♡♡♡♡^∞ metaphysically!
Acknowledgment: The work of Pickle Bliss takes place on the unceded, sovereign land of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations.
